Mavro Frankfurter

Mavro Frankfurter was a prominent Croatian rabbi, born in 1875, who served the community in Vinkovci. Tragically, Frankfurter's life was cut short during the Holocaust, a period of unimaginable suffering and loss for the Jewish community. In 1942, he was brutally murdered at the Jasenovac concentration camp, a site notorious for its brutal treatment of prisoners.
